VSM Solution:
The primary approach we recommend is to make the office experience as non-restrictive as possible. If the primary goal is to have staff utilize office space that has been paid for that is not being used, then require individuals to come in for specific meetings or functions. Change the office cubes into a co-location space and have workspace designed in a way that individuals feel comfortable coming to work for a short period of time or all day if they want. We recommend in office functions for specific purposes such as team working lunches to work on specific projects, team building events or information sharing sessions.

We work with our clients to determine the goals of the tools and how they will be used across the organization. We work with the team to create the requirements for the tools/services, write the solicitation based on the acquisition process of the organization and oversee the process through completion. We assist with the onboarding of the vendor and provide oversight of that contract throughout its duration.

We then assess those activities against their job descriptions and the overall needs of the organization to determine needed roles and responsibilities across the enterprise to determine training needs and possible new roles to being created.

We assess how they deliver services and if that delivery process is efficient and effective. We then work with their teams to determine a schedule of activities to guide the work that needs to be delivered.
